Description: Totally skin foodie lotion - tallow cooked with flax seeds. 100% naturally derived with food grade components and wax-free (rare for a lotion construct). Non-greasy, unisex and no oily after feel, perfect for daily use. MILDLY, NOT STRONGLY SCENTED. Middle of the road balanced lotion. Shake well with each use.
Dark Natural Indonesian Patchouli Essential Oil, with a hint of orange and Himalayan Cedarwood. Alluring, rounded and woodsy, NOT ANYTHING like an incense shop patchouli. Reminiscent of a lotion I used to make called "Flower Child", an ode to my Woodstock '69 lady friends in upstate New York.
Richly moisturizing with fast absorption. An everyday tallow lotion. Safe for face, hands, body and normal to dry skin types. Test on your arms or legs for sensitivity first (there is citrus for fresh notes in here), everyone is different.
INGREDIENTS: HYDROSOL (CEDARWOOD ROSEMARY), TALLOW, FLAX SEEDS, SUNFLOWER LECITHIN, VITAMIN E, OPTIPHEN PLUS, ESSENTIAL OILS (DARK PATCHOULI, ORANGE, CEDARWOOD HIMALAYAN, BENZOIN), XANTHAN GUM.. SHAKE WELL!
............. Note on pricing: Patchouli Essential Oil costs $123 per pound. This lotion is much more expensive to make than the other tallow lotions.
CAUTION NOTE: In hot weather (temperatures over 80F). The tallow liquefies which makes this wax-free lotion more runny since its structure comes from tallow. To stiffen the lotion, shake the bottle for 1 minute and put it in your refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours. It will stiffen up in a cooler temperature. Think of this product like honey, butter or ice cream. In hot weather, they all lose their structure and become runny but will stiffen up in the fridge. Do the same with beeswax lip balms and salves.

I adore this little tallow patchouli lotion, the smell is exactly as it should be, its hard finding good patchouli scents and this one is just right. The dry down scent smells amazing, and is so relaxing. The texture is light and creamy, silky, moisturizing, not greasy at all and absorbs nicely, a little goes a long way. I love using this alone and mixing it with other scented lotions, whenever I pair it with something else it just enhances it that much more. My current favorite scents to pair with it is the orange vanilla cream and of course the patchouli hemp lotion. Patchouli fans, this one is for you!!
